Being of Irish extraction, I was sure to enjoy Murphy’s Guy’s 17th Oyster Festival Seafood Luncheon at Guy’s Thatched Hamlet at Bilsborrow near Garstang.

A tour with chilling ghost stories followed by a warming hot pot at one of Clitheroe's award winning restaurants sounded like the perfect excuse to brave the blustery September weather. So we grabbed our wellies and umbrellas and set off looking forward to an evening with a difference.
