Can you suggest a Blackpool hidden gem?
I love spending time at Stanley Park in Blackpool and feel that everyone should experience this fantastic park which is a great free facility for a family dayout. My family also really enjoy the Model Village which is sometimes overlooked for the bigger attractions.
Blackpool’s promenade has undergone some dramatic changes over the years and it’s so different from when I started out working with the donkeys. The sculptures, wind shelters and Comedy Carpet give you so much to see as you stroll along.
What are you looking forward to seeing/doing in Blackpool in 2015?
I am eagerly awaiting the new Red Arrows Sky Force Ride at the Pleasure Beach and will continue to support as many charity events as I can, including Ride the Lights and Trinity Ilumathon. Most of all, I am looking forward to the Sandcastle Waterpark’s Guinness World Record Attemptin March with the Duke of Lancaster Regiment - I am confident we will smash the record!
