A week tomorrow we will celebrate Lancashire Day - 27th November.
Lancashire Day allows us the opportunity to declare that we are proud to be Lancastrians!
Lancashire Day commemorates the day in 1295 when Lancashire sent its first representatives to Parliament by King Edward I of England to attend what later became known as The Model Parliament.
We need you! Lets get #LancashireDay #WhereLifeFeelsGood trending!
Illustrate your love of Lancashire with photographs of your favourite Lancashire location or activity, in ‘the county where life feels good’.
Whether it’s your favourite view on a walk with your dog, picnicing on our stunning coast, attending one of the county’s popular annual events or sharing Sunday lunch with family or friends at one of our wonderful pubs or restaurants, it’s easy to join in.
Just share a photo or video of your ‘feelgood’ Lancashire and upload it to Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter remembering to use the hashtags #LancashireDay #WhereLifeFeelsGood.
There will be one ultimate VIP Lancashire Day winner, comprising a short break at Ribby Hall Village, a year’s supply of Dewlay Lancashire Cheese and a year’s subscription to Lancashire Life magazine. Closing date 30 November.
During Lancashire Day itself those uploading images or sharing messages using #LancashireDay and #WhereLifeFeelsGood, may be the lucky recipient of several additional spot prizes and surprises throughout the day.
Good luck and have a happy Lancashire Day!
