Your host is Jennifer who is just so full of life and enthusiasm and nothing is too much trouble, whether you need a lift locally, some local information or even a bit of babysitting for the young ones whilst you try out the nearby hostelry the Millstone at Mellor which is just a short walk away. What’s so special about the Old Shippon? – for me, it’s the fantastic luxury in a fantastic location and Jennifer certainly provides so much hospitality that your stay is sure to be the first of many. Somewhere that Lancashire can be truly proud of.
