One off my days off last week was spent at Go Ape, Rivington! If you follow our blog you may have read about my last trip to Go Ape, Rivington with my work colleagues a few months ago.
This time I went with some of my family, which again was a lot of fun!
My younger brother has always been very unsure about big rides so we weren’t sure how he was going to get on. So like the loving big sister I am, I made him go to the back so he wouldn’t slow me down. But he loved it and raced me to the 2nd course so he could go first!
In true family competitive spirit once my brother had chosen to go across the ‘extreme’ crossing on one of the courses, there was no way me and my dad were going to choose the ‘chicken run’ crossing instead!
I think that Go Ape is such a great day out. It is so funny watching your family and friends swinging into nets and zipping out of trees, trying their best to land on their feet frontwards rather than on their bums backwards in the bark!
I think it’s brill and already planning to go back again with friends!
Top tip: don’t forget your camera!
Aw looks like you had another great day monkeying around Amy! You're braver than me...after my first Go Ape experience, think it may take a lot of persuading to get me back up those trees again. Such a chicken!
